East German illustrated envelope showing an Altenburg half-timbered house, with a se-tenant pair of 5pf and 10pf Altenburg traditional costume stamps. Berlin 108 pictorial Trachten der Deutschen Demokratischen Republik cancellation dated 28 October 1966. Printed Ersttagsbrief inscription; the stamps were issued on 25 October 1966, so offered as a later commemorative cover. Unaddressed. The photographs show the actual item offered; please inspect both sides for condition, including age toning and pencil annotations.
